What are Smooth & Lifting PDO Threads?

Polydioxanone (PDO) Threads are absorbable sutures. When placed in the skin, they lift and tighten by stimulating new collagen production through a process known as neocollagenesis. The threads themselves dissolve after about 6 - 10 months, but the stimulated collagen remains, so the tightening is visible for about 10 – 18 months.
